The origin of cargo pants is the work clothes of nameless workers. It is said that the beginning of its history was used as workwear for workers working on cargo ships and ports.
From the time of the Pacific War (1940s), it was diverted as military pants and strengthened the military color.
That masterpiece "Monkey Pants (P44 type)" is now available with a vintage look!
This item uses a robust "HBT (herringbone twill)" fabric, and the unique pattern of herringbone twill (HBT) is produced with a moderate texture. The biggest feature of the look is the large horizontal flap cargo pocket attached to the hip. This large pocket was adapted to hold a 'poncho'. Also, regarding the flap, it was adopted so that the contents do not pop out even when it is turned down. The front part is a button fly specification. A metal donut button is hammered into the fabric to achieve high durability not found in zipper fly. Both sides of the trousers are equipped with cargo pockets with flaps at slightly lower positions. Large capacity and convenient to use.
