フレンチプロレタリアの作業着として、フレンチワークは19世紀頃に初めて登場しました。ちょうど産業革命の時期なので、炭鉱で働く人たちには破れない作業着が必要で、「BLEU DE TRAVAIL」が誕生しました。
―DESIGN＆SILHOUETTE―
藍染め工芸で仕上げられに加え、植物染料で染められた素材を使用し、ウォッシュやブリーチで色差を表現している。
原始的なデザインにインスピレーション源で、ディテールを取り入れながらポケットを改良した。実用性の高い三つボタンと四つポケット式です。
裏地には、葛飾北斎の浮世絵「神奈川沖浪裏」からインスピレーションを得た伝統的な和柄で、波の荒々しさや迫力を表現し、日本の美意識や文化に深く根付いたデザインとして知られている。ジャケットの内側に隠れた美しさと個性が加わる。

くっきりとした畝の細コーデュロイを使用し、畝は極細ですが、起毛感もしっかりしていてベロアのようなきめ細かい密度の高い素材感。
ヘビーウェイトのコットン素材を使用し、しっかりとしてる質感があり、柔らかく肌に馴染むようになる。

デニムパンツやスウェットジョガーパンツと合わせたカジュアル、スポーティーなスタイル、カーゴパンツやチノパンツといったワーキングウェアと合わせてお洒落なワークスタイルがオススメ。
