河鍋暁斎の絵には、骸骨がしばしば登場します。骸骨は骨だけの姿ですので、本来であれば不気味な存在のはずですが、暁斎の骸骨たちには怖さというものがまったくありません。それどころか、生きている人間たちよりも生を謳歌しているようで、とても楽しそうです。

おしゃれなキューバ襟で、コーデの立体感をアップ、袖口の所はスペースを空いてるカットなので、もっと動きやすい。左胸元にポケット付き、小物を落とさないように同時に拘るポイント。
「存在感を放つ柄仕立て」
バックから見た一つ骸骨を画面いっぱいに大きく描く。その後ろには、相撲を取る骸骨たち。尺八、箏、三味線、胡弓をする骸骨たちや、踊ったり、お酒を飲んだり、楽器を奏でたり、宴会をする骸骨たちなど、正確に骨格を描写している一方、その動きは躍動感があってどことなくユーモラス。表情も豊かに感じられ、にぎやかな笑い声が聞こえてきそうである。
